The song is in the key of Eb (E flat) but the trick to make it simple is to tune down the whole guitar down one semi-tone and play it in E. And try to keep as string 1 and 2 open as much as possible . You might want to study the way I play the chords here at my own acoustic take of the song (live in Spanish radio):
